2. What is stored on your device
One thing, and only if you ask for it.
The policy pages and the employee pages have a Dark mode button. If you press it, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name un-theme, with a value of either “dark” or “light”. That is the whole of it — no identifier, no date, no record of what you read.
It is saved so the site opens in the mode you chose next time instead of flashing the other one at you. It never leaves your device: it is not sent to us, it is not sent to anyone else, and it is not readable by any other site. If you never press the button, nothing is stored.
3. How we count visits
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit which pages. It does not use a cookie and it does not store anything on your device. It does not build a profile of you or follow you to other sites.
Like every request to any website, loading a page tells our host your IP address and which browser you are using. How that is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Third-party content
Most of this site loads only files we host ourselves. The one exception is the employee record page, which shows a photo and document links stored in Google Drive. Loading that photo contacts Google, and Google offers your browser a cookie of its own (named NID) as it does so.
Current browsers refuse that cookie, because Google does not offer it in a form a browser will accept from an embedded image — we tested this and it was refused. We do not set it, we cannot read it, and nothing on this site uses it. It is Google’s cookie rather than ours, so we are telling you it is offered rather than promising what every browser will do with it. This happens only on the employee record page.
5. Your controls
There is no cookie banner on this site, because there are no cookies to accept or refuse.
- Press Dark mode again to switch back. Both settings are equally saved; there is no “no preference” state once you have chosen.
- Clear site data in your browser settings to remove the saved theme. The only effect is that the site goes back to following your device’s own light or dark setting.
- Blocking storage for this site entirely is fine. Everything on the site works without it; your theme choice simply will not be remembered between pages.
- Your browser’s own cookie controls will find nothing to block here.
6. Changes
If the site starts using cookies, or stores anything beyond the theme setting, this page will say so before it does. This policy may be updated; see the effective date at the top of this page.
